Night at the Dogs Information

The Crotta O’Neills hurling club is waiting in anticipation for our 2017 family fundraising Night at the Dogs. This is being held on Saturday 26^th August in The Kingdom Greyhound Stadium, Tralee.

There will be 12 races with the first race at 7:50 pm; there may even be a novelty race or two.

Best Dressed

We are delighted to announce our ‘’Best Dressed Lady’’ competition which is being sponsored by MINX, Tralee. The winning lady will walk away with €150 voucher for MINX. Not to let the glamourous men out, there will also be a ‘’Best Dressed Man’’ competition, this is sponsored by SEAN HUSSEY Men and Boys wear, the winner will receive a €150 voucher for SEAN HUSSEY Men and Boys wear.

Entertainment for the children, will be a bouncy castle and face painting, there will be music for all after the races have finished.

Raffle Prizes

Raffle tickets will be sold on the night, 1^st prize is a trailer of turf, 2^nd prize is 2 All Ireland Football tickets and 3^rd prize is a Meal for 2. The raffle tickets will be drawn and winners announced on the night. If you’re not in, you can’t win.

These are exciting times for our Club. The highlight of 2016 was when our minors won the County Championship for the first time in the Club’s history. 2017 has also written another line in the history of the club with our U16 team winning the County Championship ‘A’ Final in Abbeydorney on 13^th of August. The club continues to field teams at all age groups and levels. The development of our facilities at Dromakee is now well under way, the field was completed earlier this year. This fundraiser is to fund the completion of the training areas. Our recent success and increasing members makes us even more determined to continue to improve our facilities for all our current and future players. The future is bright.

We would like to extend a massive Thank you to so many people. The response from everyone has been overwhelming. Without the support, good wishes and generosity of so many people none of this would be possible. The local community, our neighbouring communities and communities further afield have been very welcoming. A huge Thank you must be extended to our race sponsors. Thank you to everyone that has taken out Ads in our race book and our best dressed sponsors.
