MINUTES OF AGM HELD ON THE 14/12/2017

THE CHAIRMAN PADDY WEIR PRESIDED OVER THE MEETING.

MINUTES OF AGM  2016  READ OUT _  PROPOSEED AND SECONDED.

 

AN ACCOUNT OF ALL THE CLUB ACTIVITIES BOTH ON AND OFF THE FIELD WAS GIVEN DURING THE YEAR.

A COMPREHENSIVE REPORT OF THE CLUB FINANCES WAS READ OUT BY PAUD TWOMEY.

.A GRANT OF 27,000.00 HAS BEEN APPROVED,THANKS TO TOM CRONIN GIVING HIS TIME AND EXPERTISE TO APPLY FOR THE GRANT. THIS GRANT HAS A LIFESPAN OF 2 YEARS. TOM HAS ALREADY APPLIED FOR AND BEEN  GRANTED 100,000 EUROS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT SO FAR.

TOM CRONIN GAVE A DETAILED UPDATE ON THE PROGRESS OF THE FIELD DEVELOPMENT, HOPING TO OPEN THE FIELD IN MARCH. A FOOTPATH AND CHAIN LINK FENCE WAS DISCUSSED. THE COST OF RAILING AND FOOTPATHS ESTIMATED AT 15,000.00  ON BOTH SIDES OF THE FIELD.  A GRANT WILL BE APPLIED FOR TO HELP WITH SAME.

SIGNAGE AROUND THE FIELD WAS MENTIONED.

THERE WAS ONE MOTION PUT FORWARD FOR A STRUCTURE TO BE PUT IN PLACE THAT ANY EXPENDITURE OUTSIDE THE NORMAL RUNNING OF THE CLUB MUST BE APPROVED BY THE FINANCE COMMITTEE BEFORE HAND. THE FINANCE COMMITTEE HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE A PROPOSED EXPENDITURE AND WILL NOTIFY THE OFFICERS OF THE CLUB WHO WILL HAVE THE FINAL SAY.ANY FUNDRAISING EFFORTS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE FINANCE COMMITTEE BEFORE THEY ARE PROGRESSED.

THE BALL WALL WAS DISCUSSED AND DIFFERENT WAYS TO FUND IT.

THE FOLLOWING OFFICERS WERE ELECTED TO SERVE THE CLUB FOR THE 2017  SEASON.

SON GAVE A VERY COMPREHENSIVE ACCOUNT AND IT WAS FOLLOWED BY ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR THE COMING YEAR.
