Barry Mahony Electric Ireland Minor Player of the Week

Well done to Barry Mahony who was voted the Electric Ireland Minor Player of the Week last week, on the week of the Electric Ireland GAA Minor Football Final against Derry.
Its not every day a member of our club gets such an honorary award and the club are very proud of Barry and his achievements.
Barry had a busy day where along with his midfield partner Diarmuid O’Connor, dominated the midfield area throughout the game. Right from the start Barry delivered a perfect ball into David Clifford where he finished with a goal with only 10 seconds gone in the game. This set the tone for a great display by Barry where he worked hard all game putting in massive runs and linking from defence into attack with pin point passing.
Three days after the All Ireland final, Barry was back in the Red and Green with our Minors in the county championship.
