U13 Eddie Hayes Ground Hurling Tournament 2021

Sunday October 24th in Crotta

Draw will take place via Facebook and fixtures will be issued to participating teams.

Teams should arrive no later than 10:15am. First game starts at 10:30am

The list of teams participating is as follows:

Rules:

10 a side on Team
No lifting, catching or soloing of sliotar
Goalkeeper can play normal hurling inside square, but will have to take puck out as a free. No score allowed from puck out.
A free will be rewarded to opposition, if Goalkeeper plays normal hurling outside square. Free will be from 65 as a ground cut.
65’s taken with lift from the 50 line
If a foul on the ball, the free is taken with a ground cut, if a foul on the player a free is taken with a lift
Scores cannot be taken with foot. Foot cannot be used during play.
A game will be 20 minutes (10 minutes a half)
Final game will be 24 minutes (12 minutes a half)
In the event of a tie, scoring average will be used. In the event of scoring average been a tie the result of the group game will stand.
The 2 top teams in group go into the Cup final
2nd placed teams in group go into the Shield final
If necessary extra time will be played in finals (5 minute a half)
Sub rotation can occur during game
Organisers decision is final
