CAMOGIE
A huge game this weekend for the Kerry Minor Team, who for the first time in the history of the game, are competing in an All Ireland Final!! Kerry secured their place by beating Westmeath last weekend. A blend of youth and experience, Causeway’s Annmarie Leen will captain the team. Venue and Time to be announced, and we wish the girls, the mentors Liam Young, Pete Young, Richard Keane, Butch Fealy and all involved with Kerry Camogie, the very best of luck this Saturday May 5th when they take on Down in what’s sure to be a thriller! A special mention to injured corner back Kerri o Shea, who unfortunately wont play any part in Saturday’s final, and she is wished a speedy recovery.
All in Kilflynn wish, Megan Weir and her team mates all the best of luck in the final.

TODD NOLAN HURLING TOURNAMENT

Tipperary Clare Limerick and Kerry contested the Todd Nolan Annual Hurling Tournament held in Kilmoyley and Abbeydorney venues on Saturday 2nd April, Kerry defeated Limerick in Lerrig in the S/finals and Tipperary defeated Clare in Abbeydorney, Tipperary defeated Kerry by 3-17 to 3-10 in the A final in Abbeydorney and Limerick defeated Clare in Kilmoyley to take home the Shield Trophy. The Crotta hurling club was represented to Tom McElligott, Leam, Kilflynn on the Kerry team.

GARRY SCOLLARD TOURNAMENT
The Kerry Under 15 hurlers took part in the Garry Scollard Tournament, on Saturday 14th April, they reached the Shield final, where they lost out to West Waterford on the final score of 4-06 to 2-03. The Crotta hurling was well represented on the Kerry team by Adrian

UNDER 14S
The Crotta U14 hurlers qualified for County Feile Semi Final, with victories over Ballyheighue, Causeway and Kilmoyley in Ballyduff, on Saturday 28th April. Crotta will play Lixnaw in the semi final on Saturday 5th May at 3.45 p.m. Ardfert will Ballyheigue in the other semi final at 4.45 p.m. both games will be played in Ballyduff. Best of luck to the players and their mentors.

CROTTA HURLING LOTTO RESULTS
The four numbers picked out of the drum by Independent Observer, Rose McCormack, Lixnaw for the weekly Crotta Hurling Club Lotto draw were: 14,16,19 and 28 at Herbert‘s Bar, Kilflynn , on Monday 30th April, with a jackpot of 6,700. However no one came up with the correct combination of numbers and the Jackpot survived for another week. The Lucky dip prizes winner each receives €35: Jimmy Lawlor, Tullacrimmin, Abbeydorney, J.P Twomey, The Waterfall, Kilflynn, and Tommy Neenan, Crotta, Kilflynn. The next draw will take place in Parker‘s Pub, Kilflynn on Monday night 7th May with a Jackpot of 6,800. St. Teresa’s N.S Students, Jeaic McKenna, Adam O’Sullivan, Darragh Clark and Barry Mahony, holding the newly designed school jersey for the launch of the St Teresa’s N.S.’s 100th Year Celebration and fundraiser which will take place on Sunday 3rd June in Kilflynn.
