CROTTA FAMILY CYCLE POSTPONED
The Crotta Hurling Club supervised Cycle, which was to be held on Sunday 23rd September at 12.00 noon from The Crotta Hurling Club House, Dromakee, Kilflynn at 12.00 noon , is postponed due the Under 15 hurling final between Crotta and Lixnaw. UNDER 15 FINAL
Crotta and Lixnaw will contest the North Kerry U-15 Hurling Championship “A” Final in Abbeydorney on Sunday 23rd September at 1.00 p.m. Best of luck to the lads in Green and Red, and their mentors. In the U-15 “B” Final, St.Brendan’s play Causeway also on Sunday at 11-30 a.m. in Abbeydorney.
COFFEE MORNING
A cup of coffee never goes astray especially if is in the morning and more so if it is for a good cause. On Thursday Sept 20th the All Ireland coffee morning will take place in aid of Hospice. Anyone who would like to host a coffee morning just contact Ted Moynihan at 087 670014 for a Bewley’s coffee pack. If you can’t host one yourself try and get to one in your area, there will be plenty of them around.
DANCING CLASSES
The Kilflynn Dancing Group will continue their dancing classes every Monday night at 9.00 p.m. in St. Columbas Centre, Kilflynn. All welcome.

UNDER 10 BLITZ
The North Kerry Hurling Board Coiste na nOg U-10 Blitz will be held in Abbeydorney on Saturday 22nd September commencing at 10:30 a.m. with the groups as follows. Group (1) Abbeydorney, Ballyduff, Ballyheigue and St.Brendan’s
Group (2) Lixnaw, Causeway, Crotta, NaGaeil/Firies, Kilmoyley, Tralee Parnells
Co-ordinator for this competition on the day is Mike Leahy.
U-8 BLITZ
Crotta U8 Hurlers participated in the North Kerry hurling board U8 Blitz in Abbeydorney on Friday evening 7th September and on Friday evening 14th September. Crotta defeated Ardfert, Kilmoyey, Abbeydorney, Na Gael and Ballyduff and lost to Lixnaw. Well Done to all involved .Training for the U6/U8 and U10 hurlers finished for the season on Wednesday 12th September at the sports field, Dromakee, Kilflynn. Crotta and Victories Kerry minor hurler Tom B Mc Elligott, brought along the All Ireland Minor B Championship cup, on Wednesday evening. The children received a ‘goody bag’ compliments of Crotta Coiste na nOg. Thanks to the trainers and mentors of the teams also the parents for transporting the children, it was much appreciated.

U-13 HURLERS
Congratulations to the Crotta U-13 hurlers who qualified for the North Kerry U-13 Final with a 1-04 to 0-05 victory over Causeway on Thursday evening 6th September in Causeway. Crotta led by 1-04 to 0-02 at half time. Everyone in the club wishes a speedy recovery to the Crotta player, Dominic Nolan who was injured in the game, hopefully he will be back in the Green and Red jersey very soon.
UNDER 14S
Crotta under 14 hurlers qualified for the North Kerry U-14 Championship final on Tuesday evening 11th September with a 4-08 to 1-04 victory over Lixnaw at the sports field, Dromakee.
U-21 HURLING
The Abbeydorney/Crotta under 21 hurlers will travel to Ballyduff on Saturday 22nd September to play the home side in the County U-21 Championship quarter final at 4:00 p.m. Best of luck to the lads in green and red and their management team.

Kilflynn Santos F.C will commence in the Denny Division 2B this season, their first Match is on Sunday 23rd September at 5.30 p.m. against Clanmaurice F.C at Mounthawk Park, Tralee. Best of luck to the players and the management team in their new season.
CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS
The four numbers picked out of the drum by Independent Observer, Stephen Egan, Aulane Abbeydorney for the weekly Crotta Hurling Club Lotto draw were: 6,10,17 and 19 at Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn on Monday night 17th September, with a Jackpot of 8,700. However no one came up with the correct combination of numbers and the Jackpot survived for another week. The Lucky dip prizes winner each receives €35: Ger McCarthy, Lissanerla, Abbeydorney, Sinead McElligott, Abbeydorney and Antionette O’Connell, Rae, Kilflynn. Raymond O’Connell and Phil Moris defeated Jason Nolan and Brandon Conway in the weekly darts tournament final in Parkers snug bar, Kilflynn on Saturday night, 15th September, The next darts doubles tournament takes place on Saturday night 22nd September at 10.30 p.m. in Parkers lounge Bar. Names MUST be in for 10.15 p.m. NO Names after this Time. First game of the Tournament must start at 10.30p.m. Sharp.
MINOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP
The Abbeydorney/Crotta minor hurlers were well defeated by Lixnaw on Sunday 16th September in the County Minor Hurling Championship Semi final, by 6-18 to 1-04 in Austin Stacks Park, Tralee. The Crotta club was represented by Jordan Conway (Goalkeeper), Tom B McElligott (Full Back), Adrian Mahony (wing forward), Jack Sheehan (Full forward) and Tom Mc Elliott (Corner forward) on the Abbeydorney/Crotta team.
The second semi ended in a victory for Kilmoyley when they defeated Causeway on a final scoreline of Kilmoyley 2-15 Causeway 2-07.
