CAMOGIE
All Ireland Junior Final Kerry v Carlow. All roads lead to the Latten Cullen GAA Grounds in South Tipperary. Throw in is this Sunday (2nd) at 2pm. Your support for the team in their quest for All Ireland glory would be very much appreciated! Captained by Clanmaurice’s Clair Godley, they go into this final as well prepared as any team can be. However injury concerns to full forward Sara Murphy and wing forward Annmarie Leen are a worry for management, as these two players are instrumental in the Kerry attack. Carlow carry the bragging rights into the final, having beaten Kerry by 2 points earlier in the year, but this is a new game, and a team backboned by the likes of Sinead Mackessy, Michelle Leen, Laura Collins, and Patrice Diggin will have a huge say in how they perform on the day. With training sessions from current Dublin manager Anthony Daly, and former Kilmoyley and Kerry hurler Christy Walsh, along with words of encouragement from Kerry legend Eoin ‘The Bomber’ Liston, we wish the best of luck to all the panel and Management as they go in search of their first title at this grade. Our thanks also to the Kerry GAA Co.Board for accommodating the fixture change to the Senior Hurling semi finals so as to avoid a clash with this final, and for sponsoring a set of Jerseys.
